My birthday was very uneventful yesterday...

My dad sent me a birthday card and so did my grandma. I'm surprised she still remembers me let alone is still alive. She's a really old lady. She sent me a check for 5 dollars. I think she's living off of ssi. I'm not cashing that but it was still nice of her to send that. I thought I'd have more to say but all I did was work, drink a few beers at home, and go to bed. I think that should make me feel sad but I've gotten used to it.

My great aunt used to do the same thing, send us 2 dollars. It was sweet of her, but my brother and I were always just like, "what do I do with TWO bucks?" Oh, and happy birthday.

The little bits can go a long way if you save it. That's 24 bucks in a year ... but you're right.

Thanks.
